Spare Parts Returned Goods Policy

Please note that we have a maximum time limit for returns of 30 DAYS Please contact the Spares dept. for returns paperwork if you do not issue your own.

No goods can be cancelled or returned without prior agreement and authorisation by Dawson MMP Ltd. Items returned without authorisation will not be credited and will be disposed of, if not collected within 1 month

SUPPLIED INCORRECTLY
The following information will be required: Full model and serial number that was supplied and parts requested. If this information is not available, it may be assumed the item was wrongly ordered on your part a re-stocking charge will be applied

Re-stocking Charge - to cover inspection and warehousing – 30%

ORDERED INCORRECTLY/ NOT REQUIRED / DUPLICATED ORDERS
Duplicated Orders
Error on the part of Dawson - Full Credit
Error on the part of Customer - 30%
Ordered Incorrectly/No Longer Required
Stock parts a restocking charge will be applied for parts we hold in stock to cover inspection and warehousing – 30%

STOCK PARTS
Dawson supplied - Stock items are classed as goods currently in stock at Dawson premises.
Restocking Charge - To cover inspection and warehousing – 30%
Supplier Stocked Items - These items are classed as goods currently in stock at our suppliers premises and available for immediate delivery
Supplier Restocking Charge Applied - POA

NON-STOCK PARTS
Items specially ordered from suppliers - these parts have a NO RETURN POLICY applied. Delivery must be accepted and invoice paid for in full

Note - All associated delivery costs will NOT be covered by Dawson

DAMAGED PARTS
Goods should be examined upon arrival and details of any damage or loss entered on the delivery note. REGARDLESS OF SITE CONDITIONS, damaged goods MUST be notified to Dawson, in writing, within 2 days of delivery. All packaging must be kept and returned to Dawson for inspection, otherwise, any associated costs will not be covered by Dawson

FAULTY PARTS
Faulty Warranty parts are dependant on the parts ordered at the suppliers discretion. Faulty parts must be accompanied by a signed service report from the customer/engineer stating the nature of the fault. If goods are deemed to be faulty, replacements will be supplied and all associated carriage costs will be refunded.

Any failure to comply with the above will result in your credit request being refused
